Spinning a cordless, brushless drill (check empty, no load speeds) at various bursts of different length. Some in 1st gear and some in 2nd gear; in 2nd gear the electric brake is more pronounced. Mic changes position now and again to vary the sound character.

909 kick with massive distortion and eqíng. Used the eks-9 vst plugin to emulate a 909 kick drum. Placed a huge load of different distortion plugins on different spores, to create a heavy distorted sound. In between those distortion plugins i used several eq's to manipulate the sound. I tried to mock the sound of spinning the chamber of a revolver for a game. Didn´t find anything that fit my needs so i tried to produce one on my own. It´s a ratchet, spun once and played with about 150% speed. No attribution needed, all rights waived - just send me a message if and how you use this sound!.

No audio sample is present in this recording.

Coffee at the cottage. Started a olympus ls-10 + cheap old sony microphone, then proceeded to load the auto-drip coffee machine with coffee grounds, 4 cups of water and hit the brew button. Then, took out the old toaster, put a leftover waffle from yesterday's breakfast in, and toasted while the coffee was brewing. Various sounds accompanied with this ritual. . . Coffee maker and toaster sounds. Unscrewing and replacing the top to the nutella jar. Squeaky old oak floors of this 90 year old house making noise while i walk around. Water running, old clock on the wall ticking etc.

It'll sound muffled to you, that's because i captured the ir and all the reflections with an omni-directional mic and i have thick curtains ;-dof course it can be used as a really, really nice and natural-sounding ambience ir, too. I was just going through my sounds, when i decided "hey. . . I'm gonna release this. " so here you all go! i'm really proud of how this turned out. This, as you can tell, is a deep eerie ambience loop. It can be used for anything you want. I like to leave things up to the imagination of the audience. How it was made:. Software used:-fl studio 20-harmor-harmless-fruity parametric eq 2-valhallaroom. So basically what i did was get a low pitch sawtooth waveform, put it through some effects like harmonization, a low pass filter with high resonance, a phaser, and a load of distortion. The main synth is made with harmor. (yes, this is all one synth. It just has a lot of dynamics. ) i then processed it with some eqing. What made this sound what it is would be the reverb. I put 2 layers of valhallaroom on the synth. One has a very short decay time, and gives it texture. The other gives it the atmosphere. To add some more depth, for the final touch, i layered a sub-bass underneath it. Which is just a low sine-wave with reverb on it, which i used harmless to make. I hope you enjoy this!.

Recorded on a recent trip to singapore in one of the many food courts there. This is an ambience of the food court with loads of people having their lunch. If you need it, feel free to use it in your creations.

The strange sound of the spanish knife sharpeners whistle as he travels the streets calling for people to come and get their knives sharpened. Recorded from my balcony. Put through a high pass filter because there was loads of background noise.

I was fiddling around with an analog synth that went into a peavey km50 keyboard amp and i made this soundit has loads of pitch editing giving it the house-ey feel to it and i think it was an fmaj5/9 chord with extra 6ths and 4ths.

Found a big bush covered in white flowers with loads of bees buzzing all over it. Some good buzz noises here but unfortunately quite a bit of mic handling noise and the sound of the leaves brushing against the mic as i pushed it in close to try and stir up the bees a bit. Luckily i didn't get stung!.

I used cheap mallet sticks made of rubber to play on a ride cymbal. Not really a good tremolo or whatever you call it, but it has its moments!recorded with a tascam dr 100. The ride was bosphorus traditional series. So i think it's 21 inces i guess? correct me there, i lack loads of drum-knowledge. Sorry about the attributional cc. It should've been public domain from the start.

As a homage to freesound. Org for being a member for over 7 years under the name "djeuphoria", i present the freesound community with some unique sounds i've created recently using loads of different plugins and synthesizers that i've been acquiring over the years that has slowly turned into a massive collection. So with that being said i'm going to be periodically adding sounds to my "dream sample pack" so you can all hear the sounds i've been creating under my new nickname "dream", thank you all for the downloads, its awesome to see how terrible my sound quality was and how much i've improved from that, enjoy these awesome synth sounds i've engineered, cheers. -dreamp. Here are the audience bits from a jazz concert i recorded using an olympus field recorder. The auditorium was intimate and acoustically excellent. In the first section if applause you will here a mild rumble. There was a standing ovation, and that's what that rumble is. I also included some quiet bits of the band on stage getting ready for a song, and some subtle crowd walla as well. There is plenty to play with if you need to loop. You may here some bits of the mc or sax player in the background near the end, but nothing you can't work around if you need to. Check my other up-loads for an extended walla track from this same show. Hope this track works out for you!.
